Only a few weeks after returning to Silvermoon, Lady Flameshade began her second expedition, this time heading to the alien world of Draenor. These rumors were and remain though absolutely baseless. Vatere rose in status and fame soon after that, which spread many rumors about the questionable relationship of the Noblewoman and her servant suggesting from the naïve possibility of a romance to the dark chance of blackmail and dark magic involved. Lady Flameshade returned to Silvermoon after a few months of travel with her now trusted Mage-companion. Rumors from the people they met on their way say they were always actively looking for something and that the lady was often accompanied by more than just one man, though the second companion was too cloaked to be recognizable. With the unwanted companion she set out on a very long journey through the continents of Azeroth and Kalimdor. The man chosen to be her protector and travel companion was a humble Botanist and mage named Vatere Sunblaze. With those rather vague words said she was appointed a bodyguard for her travels as she denied anything more than that. She informed in a council meeting that she was to leave Silvermoon city on a mission to search of a future for her race. Lady Flameshade did not seem to keep any social relationships even with her equal though, besides the necessary pleasantries when they could not be avoided.Īfter the war’s devastating results and the turn of her high elf race into mourning blood elves, Faerun for the first time was heard of taking serious action. Her only public appearances were always brief and mostly connected to the city council of which she is a member due to social status.

A few rumors spread by her servants had it that she mainly just seemed to study, the halls of her Mansion having turned into dusty and seemingly untidy libraries and storage rooms for useless artifacts and sealed boxes. Eccentric and cruel, Faerun was a woman generally avoided and pleased to be left alone. Her family’s tower held only very few servants and even them barely knew what was going on in the Noble’s life. Until the last war brought great peril upon her people, Lady Flameshade never interfered with external affairs actively. Her father, Lord Perilous Flameshade, once a trusted follower of the King Anasterion is now a hunted and disgraced criminal, accused of murder, treason and study of the forbidden arts of Dark Magic.įaerun’s mother and younger brother are both said to have died of illness shortly after the birth of the boy. Her hair is of ebon color, her skin of natural light and healthy hue, she also bears the magic-starved emerald green eyes of her race. She is of average height, has the usual slenderness of her race’s females and the expected curves. On her journeys she tries to be unrecognizably cloaked and covered. In public wearing mostly expensive clothing, carrying the scents of heavy perfumes and keeping her complexion and hair flawless through magical means, she certainly is not a woman that had to do heavy labor in her life and thus had probably too much time to waste on her appearance. Faerun’s appearance and mannerisms generally suggest someone raised in riches and having high social stature.
